…and then do some brainstorming and bring those ideas to our one-on-one meeting.

Informative speech topics I’m not approving:

-general health, fitness, sleep, diet, exercise topics

-broad anxiety, stress topics

-online learning topics

-topics of particular interest to high school students

-standardized testing topics

-broad mental health topics

-broad covid or vaccine topics

-broad topics about climate change (we all know the basic issue)

-broad topics about organic food, GMOs, veganism

-anything related to money buying or not buying happiness

-broad topics about impact of social media/technology on our lives

-food deserts

…the only way to get something related to one of these topics approved is by choosing a very small slice of the topic, something that is relatively new/unknown – most of these topics don’t bring up anything NEW for the audience to consider
