How will you interact with the course content?

Each week of the course is organized into a module that you can access from our Canvas home page. Each module will include a learning agenda, videos, readings and other content. This will be balanced with in person activities for our Thursday sessions.

Read the agenda first and review everything in the module so you can make a plan for how you will get your work completed. Then block off time in your calendar to ensure you have time to read, process, ask questions, write, and revise in order to stay on top of your assignments and deadlines.

How will you interact with your instructor?

The best road to success here is by communicating with me and communicating with your peers. We are all working through this together, and the sooner we can all be comfortable around each other the better!

What sorts of assignments will you be doing?

Because the goal of this course is to develop the skills needed to be an effective writer, all of your assignments for this course will involve writing. There are no tests, and quizzes will be limited to small questions on a pass/fail basis.

I will be providing you with feedback on your written work. This feedback is intended to help you improve and grow as a writer, so please keep an open mind and use my comments to make your future work even better.
