Hon1000: Changing Detroit-Large Section
To the world, Detroit has been many things: a beacon, a warning, even a punchline. To the millions of us who live, work, and study here, Detroit is simply home. Our city deserves close attention. In this course we dig deep into the story of Detroit, and in the process we learn the analytical tools we need to make sense of any complex human system. In this syllabus, you will find a plan for learning about our city and its place in the world. We will learn what went right, what went wrong, and how each of us can find a way to do more good than harm.
